A very fun project.
W.W. Grainger Corporation celebrated their new line of fasteners by commissioning this sculpture of nut and bolt made entirely from stainless steel, regular steel, and bronze and brass fasteners in their catalog. It was used in their trade show exhibits and displayed at their corporate headquarters.
It is 7 feet tall and
sits on a welded steel base. It is now in the permanent collection of the College of Lake County in Gray's Lake Illinois where it stands in their new technical wing.
